2022

Building on success

Building on the success of the inaugural 2020 programme, a second cohort of 16 conservation leaders will convene from September 2022. The selection process, which will involve the leaders from the 2020 – 2021 cohort, will take place from June 2022.  Building on the network’s origin in East Africa, the second cohort will expand its focus to include marine conservation leaders and social entrepreneurs from organisations across Africa.

We will convene virtual and in-person training and networking events between current cohort members and broader conservation partners.  As well as giving leaders the opportunity to continue their learning, these events will provide a platform to support collaborative initiatives and encourage shared conservation approaches and practices to amplify impact.
